Red Cottage

Red Cottage is our one bed cottage sleeping two people.  The cottage is suitable for a couple, no parties or events, we ask that all of our guests act with due consideration to others on site and that noise is kept to a minimum after 10pm. Parking is available on site.

This dog friendly cottage (small charge for each pet) retains original features of the barn (which dates back approximately 300 years) with exposed beams in every room and is finished throughout to a high standard.

The living area as one can see from the accompanying photos, has a leather sofa and armchair, solid oak flooring, a small dining area, modern wall fire, and smart TV.

The kitchen offers all the appliances and accessories one would expect in order to make their stay comfortable: cooker with double oven, extractor, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer etc.

The bedroom has a king-size bed and dressing table, bedside cabinets and wardrobe and wall-mounted digital TV.  At the far end of the bedroom is a bathing area with freestanding double-ended bath. The bed is made up with goose feather and down duvet and pillows as standard (however if you prefer Microfibre, just let us know). Linens are provided, along with 1 bath sheet and 1 hand towel per person.

The separate bathroom has an enclosed shower unit. There is an anti-mist LED lit mirror with shaving point and thermostatically controlled towel rail. Complimentary ‘Duck Island’ toiletries are included.

Your dog-friendly cottage:

Well-behaved family dogs are welcome to stay in Red Cottage, unfortunately we do not accept puppies under 6 months old. Dogs are subject to a charge of £15 per stay per dog. If you have more than 2 dogs, please contact us to discuss. We do ask that dogs are not allowed on the sofa, although we understand this is difficult when they are used to it at home. If your dog does sleep on the sofa, please bring your own throws to protect them. To ensure the cleanliness of the cottages for all our guests, we do however insist that dogs are not allowed to sleep on the beds. If your dog does share your bed with you, we ask that you bring all your own bedding, including linens, duvets and pillows. They are welcome to sleep in the bedroom with you in their own beds if you wish. Dogs must not to be left alone in the property. We have horses and resident cats on site and ask that dogs always be kept under control when in the grounds. We do not accept any other pets into the cottage.

Red Cottage is a very pleasant place to stay for couples on a short break or holiday in this very special and unspoilt part of our Isles.
