Great Tythe Barn

Great Tythe Barn is our four bedroom cottage sleeping 8 people. This property is suitable for couple and family bookings, no parties or events. We ask that all of our guests act with due consideration to others on site and that noise is kept to a minimum after 10pm. Parking is available on site for 2 cars only.

The dog friendly property (small charges apply) is situated over two floors.  Its careful renovation shows the character of this beautiful old building with the original oak beams revealed and the exterior repointed using traditional materials. 

One enters the barn into a good-sized open-plan dining area and lounge. The dining room has a farmhouse table seating eight and the living room area has two comfortable settees and two armchairs. There is a large Smart TV, and electric heating. Wi-Fi is available throughout the barn.

The kitchen offers all the amenities necessary to make for a comfortable stay: cooker, microwave, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, washing machine etc.

Downstairs on this floor there is also a kingsize bedroom and an adjacent wet-room.

On the first floor there is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and toilet and two additional twin rooms and a family-sized bathroom.

Linens are provided, along with 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per person.

As Great Tythe Barn is approached directly from the drive with no steps and the ground floor accommodation living areas (including double bedroom and wet-room) and full size 2’ 9’’ doors, then this cottage may be suitable for those less mobile or wheelchairs.

Directly outside the front door there is a pleasant garden with grassed area and garden furniture (shared with others on site). We also have a games room available for our guests’ use.
